After silence,
that which comes
nearest to
expressing the
inexpressible is
music.

The Singing Messengers came into
existence in the 1970's. The first members
of the group were Alwayne Welch, the
Rev. Robert Johnson, Ted Cline and Paul
Brock. Craige Johnson played the bass. The
only surviving members are Paul Brock and
Craige Johnson.
Over the years the Singing Messengers have
been made up of different singers. The
group was originated in Dalton, Ga. and
the group today consists of Paul Brock, Lisa
McGill and Dorothy Howard. Due to
sickness Dorothy Howard, who plays the
keyboard and vocals, is recovering. Please
pray for her.
